Oauth2 and Thunderbird?

I had to reset my email password and it appears that the reset has broken Thunderbird. When I started looking into the issue, I noticed that the Authentication method was set to Oauth2. I have gone back in and set the Authentication method to "Normal Password" to get it to work. But I'd really like to go back to Oauth2.  How can I configure Thunderbird to use Oauth 2 now that I had to switch it?  I did go back and toggle the "Third Party Access Security " option as documented at Turn your access to third-party email programs on or off in Xfinity Email - Xfinity Support to get my email working.   But I couldn't find anything on setting Oauth2 back up. I couldn't find anything on line about generating a new Oauth key. Could some one point me to some info?

If you are asking about using Thunderbird to access Xfinity email, you can't use Oauth2. Their email systems do not support it. You have to use Normal Password.

Then I have no idea why the settings were configured for Oauth2 and it worked. Software can be weird sometimes.
