Not receiving some important emails

I am not receiving some emails from my bank, my financial advisor, and my yoga studio, and of course I don't know what other important emails I might be missing. I also have not received replies to many emails I've sent out recently, and I don't know if somehow they are being blocked. They do not show up in my Junk folder either; I check it regularly. These are all places from whom I've received emails before.

I'm sorry to hear of your issues where you are not able to receive emails to your account. Not to worry I'm here to assist you with taking a look and getting this resolved with you. What troubleshooting steps if any have you taken? Are you accessing your email acccount on the web or through a 3rd party such as outlook?

@XfinityDanielC

I check my email through Mail on my MacBook, as well as through the web.

I don't know what troubleshooting steps to take, since I'm not seeing the emails; I only find out about them when I realize I haven't received important messages.

No problem at all! That is what we are here for, @Madrona24. We don't want you to have to repeat steps you have already taken which is why we ask. We will get to the bottom of this. This link goes over Email and Spam Filters.

Can you please check that the Email Safe List setting is turned off? The Email Safe List is found under Settings then Advanced Settings in Xfinity Connect. It lets you list the only email addresses from which you want to receive emails.

Do you have any email filters set up?

I'm not finding a tab for Advance Settings under Settings on Xfinity Connect. On my Mail program on my Mac, I do not have any filters set up.

@Madrona24 Thank you for those domains.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.

To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.

@Madrona24

Good afternoon,

Checking our logs those domains are able to send to comcast.net without any issues. Would you by chance be able to obtain any bounce back or error messages the domains receive when trying to send to you? Similar issues in the past have been something on the sender side preventing emails from being sent to a specific recipient due to some form of internal system they may be using.

I am also having this problem. It happens periodically, as in every couple of months. The current emails being blocked are from Ann Arbor Public Schools. Two weeks ago I was receiving them and all the sudden I'm not. AAPS says it is being blocked by Comcast, but their emails are not showing up in my Spam folder.

It has also happened repeatedly with emails from Ann Arbor Public Library and Keith Hefner Karate.

I need to get AAPS emails so I can register my kids for school next year. How do I get this fixed this time, but also prevent it in the future?

Honest to goodness, Comcast has blocked AAPS at least 10 times in the 10 years my kids have been going to school.  best, cz

I am sorry to hear you have not been getting these important emails @user_58496f. I can't imagine the headache this has caused you. Our team would be happy to help get to the bottom of this. First, how are you receiving the emails? Do you go directly to the Comcast website, or use a third-party provider (Outlook, Gmail, Thunderbird)? Have you tried any troubleshooting steps at this point? Do you use one specific device to retrieve your emails?

I no longer work for Comcast.
