Not receiving emails
I cannot receive emails from certain companies. My bank, certain vendors, Nicor, Comed, etc.... Spoke with 8 different representatives in the past four days and no one can resolve the issue. I have spent countless hours on the phone with numerous levels of tech support in the Philippines and they ended up sending a technician to our house to check our modem, as they said this is the problem. Not sure how our modem would cause us not to receive emails. The technician said the connection is fine and we are now being charged for this visit and it did not correct the problem. I have been transferred around and have had numerous representatives hang up on me and been put on hold for 15-30 mins each time I call.
They check our filters, and nothing is setup. They have us clear cache and nothing. They had us change our passwords and nothing. We cannot receive emails from our bank and we cannot reset passwords for any of our outside accounts because they are setup with this email address. We are also missing emails for two weeks. Not sure where the emails are. They said they would restore them, but they never sent them through. We ask to speak to a supervisor and they will not transfer me to one. I also cannot get this elevated to anyone, nor will they send us to a representative in the USA.

Have you tried sending yourself a test email from some other account you have like Yahoo or Gmail? Does it go through OK? When it's only certain senders involved, it may well be because of a blocking issue. Comcast security should be able to help if that is the case--------------------

I contacted the team and they tell me they will call me back and never do. Gmail and Yahoo will come through the emails. Amazon, TCF Bank, Nicor, Intuit, Comed, and various other accounts will not come through. It has now been 2 and half weeks and I speak to someone everyday that says they will call me back and it will be fixed. I do not get a call back. I am unable to access my tax accounts, Government emails, bank alerts, e-bills, and cannot receive any 2FA that is using my email to send codes for authentication. I can’t reset any passwords. I’ve spoken with all of these companies and Comcast servers are blocking all emails sent to my account. No one will assist and the problem has not been resolved. I am assuming there is a larger security issue that Comcast is not sharing with their customers. Someone needs to get this resolved. I cannot recived important emails. This is a security and privacy concern and Comcast is liable.

Then I am going to escalate this to the forum admins for follow-up. It's the weekend so it may be a bit before you see a response here in the thread.
