Not receiving emailed security codes

Trying to log into a few websites that require authentication codes to be emailed to my Comcast email address on file.  However, despite the codes being sent (as confirmed by the host), I'm not receiving them in either of my emails.  I'm receiving all other email just fine - but not these authentication codes.  I am accessing my email directly on the Xfinity site, but have the same issue on my phone and in Outlook - no authentication codes coming through. This is very recent issue.  How do we resolve this?

Hi, @user_9ylfw7! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to XFINITY over our forums page and for patiently waiting for a response. I rely on my emails for authentication codes too so I understand the importance of receiving those emails. We are the right team to assist and can help. After reviewing this further, I see that often the sorting order can be the cause of not seeing new emails. Would you mind checking to ensure the sorting order is sent to Date and Descending? Here are the steps below.

 

  1. To sort messages in your inbox, click on Sort under the email toolbar.
  2. When you click on Sort, you'll see a drop-down list.
  3. Select how you would like to sort the messages in your inbox. 
    The options under the Sort dropdown.

You can sort by DateFromUnreadSizeSubject, and Color in Ascending or Descending order, and Conversation
