Not Good -> Comcast.net Email is Moving to Yahoo!

First the Comcast Email app was done away with. Then Xfinity got rid of the remote App. Now they are not even going to host and operate their own email service as it's being handed over to Yahoo!, a company that has heavily censored peoples' comments on their articles starting during Covid/Floyd riots and continues to do so to this day.

How is not anyone talking about this?

Since they switched, I have lost personal folders. If they had warned us this might happen I could have saved them, printed them off or maybe other options. No warning!!

@pmoosman54 I have yet to get the message that I need to migrate over, but you losing folders is quite concerning. Could you expand on your situation? Such as were they only sub folders, main folders, or both? How many did you lose vs how many were kept. TIA.

@pmoosman54 I'm sorry to hear you folders did not move over to. Yahoo will provide support for customers who experience issues after they have migrated their Comcast.net email accounts to Yahoo Mail.  Once an email account is migrated, Xfinity no longer provides support for it.

Support can be reached at https://welcome.yahoo.com/ for support videos and articles. There is also an interactive chatbot for live agent for assistance. You may also call a dedicated support line at 866-764-7650 for live Yahoo support assistance. My apologies for the issues you're currently experiencing. I would give those support options a try.

Did you have any additional concerns that we can assist with?

Once you have migrated to Yahoo Mail you cannot return to Xfinity.  Sorry.
