No longer on xfinty wifi but need to reset my password

Our family has a number of @comcast.net email addresses that we have used for years. We no longer have comcast/xfinity service and have continued to use them without issue until today when email service stopped working and we were required to reset passwords. When we go to reset them, the web interface says the following:

"You'll need to connect to your home WiFi, then navigate to xfinity.com/password to complete a password reset."

The problem is that we no longer have xfinity wifi. I need to access my email for some tickets that were sent before I realized I was not able to access my email account.  Please help!

Hello! Thank you so much for reaching out to us on our Xfintiy Forums. I know it's crucial to have access to your email addresses. I'm sorry for the disruption this is causing. It seems that a phone number or alternate email address is not associated with your emails which may cause issues like this when a reset is required. Since you are unable to connect to the home network that the error is suggesting you can connect with our amazing security team. They are available by phone. Visit their page here: https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse
Have you received the same error message with each email address? The other possible issue could be if you have not logged into the email accounts within the past 12 months. There is an activity requirement to log into xfinity.com to access your email at least once every 12 months to keep the account active. If that is the issue, our security team can help with that as well.

We are having the same issue here - one of our @comcast.net emails is showing the "connect to home internet".  However, we do still have Xfinity internet.  One particular email address can not connect still.  Has there been a resolution?  When I coly the URL listed above it says it can't reach that page

Hello, @user_03zb66. I'm sorry to hear your daughter is having issues accessing her email while she's home. I'd be more than happy to help figure out a solution to this sign in error she's experiencing. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section.
