Since May 2nd, I, too, can no longer access my Comcast email account via Mail app on my iPhone. Why?

Are you getting an error message?  If so, what is it?

Today, my issue is resolved. The error I received was “Comcast not currently available.” However, all is well now. The configuration was saved and downloaded my mail from the server.
