Newsletter Being Blocked
I am having the same problem. Overnight, my newsletter subscriptions from the New York Times and the Washington Post stopped coming. My Substack subscription to the Heather Cox Richardson newsletter (which I pay for) stopped coming. I should add that at the same time, the large number of unwanted emails I have been receiving for years--political appeals, scams, etc.--also disappeared. And the Google group emails from my hiking club (I get lots of emails from my friends through that email address) started going directly to the Junk file. Now I'm starting to wonder what else I'm not getting!
It seems likely that, in an effort to deal with a general increase in the amount of email spam, they turned their spam filter settings to a higher level, blocking email that I (and countless others) actually want. I have talked to Comcast at least five times, have a ticket number, have been escalated, and no one can help me. Each time I call we go through this long process of verification, then there's lots of waiting while the person talks to a superior, and in every case the person I spoke with had heavy accents that were hard to understand--was that "block" or "blog"? And every time they ended up saying there was nothing they can do.
So I tried other angles. I went to the New York Times, deleted my subscriptions, then started over and resubscribed to a couple of newsletters to see what would happen. They never arrived. So I decided to cancel my HCR newsletter subscription, so I wouldn't be paying for something I'm not receiving, but I can't even do that! Because in order to log in, they need to send me an email with a security link . . . and I can't get any emails from Substack!
Come on, Xfinity! We've been customers for ages and I would really like to get my emails. Can someone please, please help me?

Have you checked to see if your emails might be being forwarded to another email address? That would be a place to start.

No, but I checked the gmail account I don't use and there was nothing. Somehow Comcast is blocking those addresses.
