New version of email?
I've gotten a "Final Reminder" email telling me:
"The Classic version of Comcast Email will be replaced by our new version. So it’s time to verify, before you lose your email access."
This is followed by a link labeled "Restore Log-in".
Is this legitimate, or a scam? I've never gotten any information about a new email version other than these emails.

It's a phishing email, a scammer attempt to steal login and account information. If you check your email with Comcast's Xfinity Connect webmail ( https://connect.xfinity.com/ ), look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo next to any message that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity (see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email ).
If the logo is missing when you view the message in webmail, the message is not from Comcast. Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program, not in even Comcast's own email app. It's only visible when you use their web email site.
Samples of recent phishing messages can be found at https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/alerts/ under "Top Phishing Scams".
To report a scam email to Comcast, follow the "Report Spam and Phishing Emails" link on https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse/ and scroll down to the "Report Phishing Emails" section.

I actually use connect.xfinity.com to view my emails, so I checked some of my saved Xfinity emails, and they all do have the logo, as do the forum-related ones I just received today. The email I posted about (supposedly from "Admin") didn't have this logo, so I will ignore it as spam.
BruceW, thank you for your assistance!

Why can't Comcast stop these phishing expeditions. It's been going on for 7 months!

I receive a phishing email every day telling to log in and update my xfinity to the latest version for months. I have forwarded numerous of these emails to [Edited: "Personal Information"] with only a response of thank you but the emails keep coming. Each one of them has a different sender email address. Now I just mark them as spam.

📫 Check email on Xfinity / Comcast website > tap inbox >
In the subject column , the envelope icon will have a red square 🟥 with
white letters " Xf " .
