Need To Change Password for One of My Emails-Stuck In a Loop

One of my email addresses is requesting me to reset the password.  When I follow the links, it just keeps puttin me in a loop back to the same page.  I have talked to someone at customer service and every solution involved me getting into the account to do - I CAN'T GET INTO THE ACCOUNT BECAUSE IT WANTS ME TO CHANGE THE PASSWORD.  They said they'd be in touch, but I'm sure "in touch" means they've sent the response to the email I do not have access to.   I am on my home network and I have cleared the cache.

I need access to this account.  Forcing someone to change a password shouldn't be this hard.

Unfortunately, you'll have to call them to get a manual reset code for resetting the password.  Once they generate the code, you can do the reset online, but not until they've done that part of it.  Be prepared to have a recovery email address or phone number to associate with the account - they told us the reason we had to call was that we didn't have a recovery contact tied to the email address(es).

Thanks but I've talked to about 5 customer service reps and no one can give me anymore help than what the last one did.  This particular account doesn't have a recovery email / phone attached to it and they keep sending codes to that account knowing I can't access it!

@user_6169cd You have to talk to someone and they should give you a code, not send one to you.  Then while you're on the phone with them, try to log into the account you are resetting and it should take you to a RESET page and you can click there and there will be a place to add the manual code.  It won't show up as an option until they have manually generated the code on their end. It's frustrating.  Tell them you need to speak with someone about account security.  And be prepared for a long wait time.  Yesterday they said the wait was more than 60 minutes and it doesn't give an option for a call back, so I just held - they came on the line about 45 minutes.  I had three accounts to reset (only knew about two of them).  You can tell which ones will need a reset if you log into your primary account and then look to see which of your secondaries have a recovery email or phone number attached.  For those that don't, you'll need to get them to manually reset each of them, so even if you don't get a chance to look before you call, ask them to look on their end.  They can do that.  They did it for us yesterday.  Good luck.
