my.xfinity.com sign-in not working after page update

The sign-in page accessed from my.xfinity.com was recently updated. I am using an older Mac with Chrome and the sign-in page does not render correctly, does not show the username field, and thus I can no longer use xfinity email from my computer. Chrome 49 on MacOS 10.6.8. I realize these are older versions but this will cause me to consider other email options.

Hey there, @wellmanmr! Thank you for bringing your login concerns to the community for assistance. We definitely want you to be able to access your online account in whatever way is best and/or easiest for you, so I'm happy to help however I can today! According to a quick online search, I see that the latest version of Chrome on macOS is 100.0.4896.88 (released 04/12/22). Are you able to Update Google Chrome on your computer, by chance?

@XfinitySara No, newer versions of Chrome are not supported on the MacOS version that I am using.

Gotcha. Xfinity Connect officially supports the following browsers:

Desktop Browser (Minimum display resolution: 1024 x 768)
For PC:

  • Internet Explorer 11** (latest and previous versions)*
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Firefox (latest and previous version)*
  • Chrome (latest and previous version)*

For Mac:

  • Firefox (latest and previous version)*
  • Safari (latest and previous version)* (Mac OS X only)

*Click on the links below to download the latest versions:

It may be beneficial to try a different browser if you're able to, given the age of the laptop. Personally kind of a gripe of mine with technology, as soon as you update it's almost like it's already obsolete due to the next new thing.
