My Sent Folder is not Showing older emails I sent

my Sent Folder is not showing older emails I sent

My Sent Folder only shows Emails that are about 60 days old. ALL Emails that I sent earlier do not display. I have not deleted any emails from my Sent folder. Please advise on how I can get access to sent emails that are older than 60 days.

Thank you for a prompt response as I need to get access to my older emails today

If you are using an email program or app, it may have a limit on how far back in time it will reach when syncing with messages in the Xfinity Connect webmail folders. The native "Mail" app on my Android phone, for example, will only reach back a maximum of 2 months when syncing with Comcast's IMAP servers. Older messages are still stored on the server, but I can't view them in that app.

Messages in the webmail Sent folder should stay there indefinitely unless someone removes them. Please see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/set-email-deletion-settings. In addition, Email Expert @Latoque and Employee @XfinityGabrielS have posted:

  • Spam is stored for 7 days or 5,000 messages, whichever comes first
  • Trash is stored for 14 days or 5,000 messages, whichever comes first
  • Messages deleted from Trash are kept for 30 days or 15,000 messages, whichever comes first. These can be recovered (see https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite/apps/faq/index.html#recoverEmail) and do not count against the 10GB mailbox limit
  • Messages in the remaining folders are kept indefinitely
  • If the 10GB mailbox limit is exceeded, new messages are not accepted
  • Users cannot change these settings
