My Comcast.net email account appears to have been migrated to Yahoo Mail without my asking or getting my permission
I can successfully sign in to my Xfinity account using my Comcast.net/Xfinity credentials. However, when I click Email, I am redirected to Yahoo Mail. When I enter my full Comcast.net email address at Yahoo, Yahoo says my password is incorrect.
I have never successfully logged in to this Comcast.net mailbox through Yahoo, and I have not authorized or completing a Yahoo migration.
I need Xfinity Support to check whether the Yahoo migration/provisioning for my Comcast.net mailbox completed correctly and help restore access to my email. I would also like the migration authorization/consent history reviewed.
Please have an Xfinity Support representative contact me by Direct Message so I can provide my account information privately. Thanks!

Thank you for providing those details, user_j2h7xy. I understand how frustrating it is to be unable to access your Comcast.net email, especially when you don't recall completing the Yahoo migration process. Based on the information you've shared, it appears the mailbox has already been migrated to the Yahoo-hosted email platform. Once a Comcast.net email account has been migrated, Xfinity Support has limited visibility into and control over the Yahoo-hosted mailbox, including the ability to review migration provisioning details, consent history, or revert the account to the previous email platform. If you're receiving an "incorrect password" message when attempting to sign in to Yahoo Mail, the issue may be related to the Yahoo account credentials or account recovery process. In those cases, Yahoo's account recovery and support resources are typically the best avenue for assistance with mailbox access. I realize that's not the answer you were hoping for, and I understand the impact losing access to email can have. While we're unable to review or reverse the migration itself, we do want to be transparent about our support limitations once an account is hosted on Yahoo's platform.
