Moving thunderbird folders back into Xfinity email

Over the years, I've used Mozilla Thunderbird to download, read and send email, and have a lot of folders storing all sorts of files.  Lots of folders.  Recently, I bought a laptop, because I am travelling more often.  I want to refer to the many folders left on the desktop pc at home.  I would use my Xfinity account as a cloud, if I could upload my folders.

Can/How can I upload those folders to my Xfinity email account so I can just access all that from the web?

Thanks for your help.

Latoque, you are a genius!  I didn't understand at first and tried to drag from the TB local folders over to the browser My folders.  That didn't work.  Then I realized you meant drag  it up to the Account name at the top of the menu - and then I refreshed the web browser, and BINGO! There it was.

Problem solved.

Thanks.

Can you clarify-------do you mean folders in your existing Comcast account in T-Bird?  If so,  and you are using IMAP, the folders should already be in the account.  If you mean folders in T-Bird in the "Local folders" section,  you can drag and drop them into any account and it copies them.  Then, if the account is enabled using IMAP they should appear in the Comcast account.  Or are you talking about something else?  How do you have the folders located in T-Bird?

Thank you for your reply, Latoque!  Sometimes one needs to refine and clarify the question.

I am indeed looking to move my "Local Files" folders into my Xfinity account.  Did you mean that I could open TB, and drag a local files folder to my browser and drop it on the My folders icon and it would copy the folder and sub folders to that destination in My folders?  That would be too easy!

If I am wrong, please correct me at your first convenience.

Thanks again.

Glad you  got it sorted out.  That trick works in some other desktop email clients like Thunderbird, and it also works in the mail aggregator you have within the Comcast account if you are using the webmail UI.  You can use the same method to move individual emails too.  Play around with it and you will see what I mean.

I have tried to drag a test Local Folder from TB to many different locations on the Xfinity Web interface with no luck. What could I be doing wrong?
