missing inbox emails

I have emails that were in my inbox at about 7:15 pm and looked again about 30 minutes later and all my inbox emails were gone. I went through the deleted emails several times and they weren't there.  I went ahead and deleted my deleted emails one at a time so as to carefully check for the missing emails.  Several of them are older emails that I desperately need to find.  I read that back in March there were several posts with the same issue and a few more recent incidents.  

 

Has anyone been able to resolve this with Comcast?

As a precaution, I would change your password to something stronger than whatever it is right now, and also change your secret question and answer. Suddenly vanishing emails is a common sign of a malware infection or a compromised account. Run a complete scan of your machine with your A/V software to see if it finds anything wrong.

Also, do you have another device like a smartphone or tablet with the account enabled on it? If so it may be downloading and then deleting the messages from the server. Check all the settings in it to see if that's what's going on.  If this doesn't explain it, call Comcast security and ask them to look at the account--------------------------
