Missing emails

One day, my Comcast email folders from 2018-2024 were missing.  I found them in the trash.  I moved the folders back to the previous folders place in my email.  However, there are no emails in the folders for these years.  Just email in my 2025 folder (and sub folders).  I searched trash, nothing.  I tried to recover the emails, nothing.  I went to Outlook which was linked for a little while with my Comcast email.  Nothing there either.  I have a lot of important emails saved over these years.  Can someone from Xfinity help me to recover the emails that were in these folders?  Thanks in advance!

I posted a reply to you yesterday.  Please don't start multiple posts about the same issue once you've posted.  If you don't know where you posted before you can always click on your avatar in the upper right corner and scroll down and you'll see all of your posts.

Using Comcast email.  I called the number mentioned above.  I received a folder of restored emails.  They are not the emails saved in folders from 2018-2024.  Are these emails in the folders gone?  The saved email contained a great deal of personal email for specific life events including legal correspondence for two estates.  If you have any additional insights or fixes on how to recover the emails placed in specific folders, I'd love to hear from you.

Ann_Arbor, It might be a good idea for us to run through some troubleshooting steps with you to see if we can recover your missing email. 

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "to" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message
