Missing Emails from Inbox

I have been using Microsoft Outlook for about 10 years to access my Comcast.net emails, specifically Outlook 365 for the last 2 years.  About 2 weeks ago, all of the messages in my Inbox disappeared.  There were fewer than 20 messages, but they were important.  They are not in the deleted or archived folders, nor any other folder.  Can these Inbox messages be retrieved?  I have made no changes to my Comcast email settings, nor Outlook settings in at least 2 years.

Have you checked the trash in both outlook and on the xfinity webmail?

I had already checked the outlook trash, but it didn't contain the missing emails.  I just logged in to my xfinity account and tried recovering old emails from the trash.  That turned up 90% of the important missing emails.  I'm happy with that.  No need to look further.  Thanks for the suggestion.
