"missed spam at comcast.net" mailbox is always full

I use Thunderbird email client on my PC with a number of Comcast email addressed. I forward common spam (not phishing) to missed-spam@comcast.net so that Comcast can help control it. For a while now every forwarded spam message is eventually (not immediately) bounced back to me with the message:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently:* missed-spam@comcast.netReason: recipient mailbox full

Why is this happening and what does it mean? I am sick of receiving this warning, and I want an option to limit SPAM. I am NOT talking about abuse, or phishing, but regular SPAM.

12abc I appreciate you taking the time to post on our Community Forums and for providing this feedback. We will be sure to forward the information to our teams for further review. I know I've had better luck with reporting spam emails and blocking them through the Xfinity web portal. There you can select the email you want to report and click the Spam button on the right-hand side of the console. That might be worth trying, or with some email clients, you can also report as junk and unsubscribe through emails to prevent more from coming in.

You completely miss the point, and instead give worthless advice that is suitable for very inexperienced users only, which indicates you are very inexperienced so what are you doing answering questions?

1. No serious user of email used the web portal, 2. I am not trying to unsubscribe to these spam emails, as I have not subscribed to them, it's SPAM ie unsolicited advertising.

Comcast has for years offered the address missed-spam @ comcast etc. specifically for use by it's customers to forward spam. The failure notice emails I get from Comcast with my sent spam attached does not say the address is dead, it says THE MAILBOX IS FULL. So FIX IT or inform customers like myself who have spend thousands of dollars over 25+ years to not use it.

No offense, but thanks for nothing, you wasted my time with your inane suggestions. Do not waste my time with a reply, please!

It was not our intention to make you feel this way, 12abc. That is still the correct mailbox for submitting common spam emails. I'm not entirely sure why it's showing as full, but we’ve flagged the issue for our management team to review further. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
