migrating to gmail

I have been trying to migrate my Comcast email to gmail through the gmail app.  I have allowed 3rd party apps on Comcast, checked the pop server numbers, allowed popups, authentication is verified with my password and at the end before the transfer, gmail says it can't happen at this time.  Why not Comcast?

This link provides the steps to complete the process manually. This should allow you to get all your emails in one place.

thanks for your reply.  But I want to migrate my all  past Comcast emails to gmail, not access my Comcast emails through gmail.  I want to get rid of Comcast and avoid migrating to yahoo.  why am I having difficulty with Comcast to do this through shutter cloud?

no not Shutterfly as you are thinking...shuttercloud is what google uses to migrate other email accounts to gmail.  You access through gmail.  I want to migrate all emails to gmail account from Comcast.  Otherwise Xfinity will make us migrate them to yahoo.

I did look into this further, I did locate the program you are referring to Shuttle Cloud. It does show that it is compatible with our email service. What error or what issue are you running into?
