Microsoft keeps claiming I requested a change in my Microsoft account password in Xfinity Connect, even though I didn't do so.

This morning, I got a bunch of emails in Xfinity Connect from Microsoft offering me a few different codes to change my Microsoft account password because they claimed I requested them. But those are lies; I didn't request Microsoft to change my password, like, a million times! I suspected that these "password change code" emails could be phishing scams as far as I'm concerned. Did I do the right thing by marking these emails as spam?

@angeldeb82 You have some good intuition to assume those emails are potential phishing attempts for your information. You can also check for potential phishing scams we've caught through our alerts page. Who is the sender?

@XfinityBradM I think the sender is supposedly Microsoft, but I have since read that the hacker is trying to steal my account by resetting my password. Fortunately the hacker doesn't succeed, as all hackers to try to steal my account never do.
