Merge folders from 2 accounts and block future emails from one account

My deceased friend had thousands of emails that I reviewed and put into folders.

I alerted all of his contacts to stop using this account and he currently receives nothing but multiple spam emails per day.

I want to stop seeing his emails but I want to save the folders that I created.

His wife has a different comcast.net email address and I would like to move his folders in with hers.

How can I do that such that I can 1. access both his and her folders 2. continue to receive her emails and 3. stop receiving his emails?

I usually use Chrome for both of them but I am open to using Thunderbird.

Good evening tomlamson have you been able to modify the spam filters to the highest security to reduce the incoming mail, by any chance? While the email is still active, I am uncertain there would be a way to completely eliminate all incoming mail.

@XfinityJon I have watched the incoming email for 2 years in order to save good emails into folders with emails that I want to save.

I am completely uninterested in incoming emails at this point but I want the folders.

There would not be an option to discontinue the email address while maintaining access to the content. Once we disable an email address, it will remove the content from our server. There are options you can use to back up the content you wish to save or move the messages. You can check out how to use our data transfer tool to help move those messages here. Once you have everything saved, we can help with disabling the email address if needed.
