mailbox full?
Yesterday I noticed that no new emails had arrived in hours, including several that should have arrived. In Firfefox, I sent a new email - it showed up in the "sent" folder but not in the inbox. I cleared Trash and Spam folders even though there were only 9 emails there. I sent another email - no joy.
Then I looked at the Sent folder - zillions of emails were there. How can this be? Lots of them were years old - how can this be? So, I cleared the Sent folder and then new emails worked again.
Normally, I use Thunderbird with POP3 settings. Isn't that supposed to remove emails? Or do I have to manually clear the Sent folder every so often?
Also, any emails sent to me during the failed time period haven't shown up. Is there any way to get them? I am very confused - it's like Comcast thought my mailbox was full. Was it?

How are you accessing the email? Exactly what happens when you try to sign in?

Thunderbird has no way to display the percentage of your usage in the account. However, if you click on the Inbox in the left pane for the Comcast account, you will see the total number of emails in that folder in the lower right corner of the Thunderbird window. Like this-------------------
the only way to see the percentage is to look at the Inbox page in the webmail interface and proceed as described above by @Again
