Mail Server Denies Access

I made a new Comcast email account, but I cannot send or recieve emails. I keep getting the error "mail server denies access."  How do I fix this? Thanks.

@heyitsmelisab

You can't "create" a new email address at connect.xfinity.com; it must be done through My Account by the Primary account holder.  Also, if you use a third party email client like Outlook or Thunderbird, etc., you can't "create" an email address there, either.

@heyitsmelisab Hey there! Very sorry for the ongoing email issue. We can help take a closer look at that and get this going in the right direction. Please click on the chat icon in the top right-hand corner. Then search for Xfinity Support. Please make sure to provide your full name and service address.

I no longer work for Comcast.
