Mac/IOS mail not working for Comcast accounts

This is an issue that happens regularly.  All of our Apple devices cannot verify the Comcast email.  I have reset the Comcast password and conformed the new password is correct in the Mac settings.  I have also conformed that the security box for third party apps is checked.  This is occurring on all of our Comcast accounts and Apple devices.

Are you saying you get an error message when you check mail on your iPhone or other apple devices? Did you recently set up the native mail apps or just getting errors all of a sudden? I think that the recent updates of iOS 26 have fouled up the mail apps on Apple devices and Comcast.net migrating to yahoo has caused problems too. Can you check your mail settings on your iPhone? Does it show imap.comcast.net or mail.comcast.net? If you entered it manually it wont work. I’ve tried for hours and days to fix mine but I finally got a hold of an XFINITY advanced security tech that talked me thru it.
