Lost messages and not in Sent folder either.
My wife's Comcast email account (which has been working for over ten years) has recently been unreliable. Some messages that are sent are never received by the recipient AND the message is NOT in the Sent folder either!
She uses both an iPhone and a Windows 10 laptop to email and the missing messages have happened on BOTH of these devices this week, so that makes it seem like a mail server issue. (She uses the native Apple Mail app on the phone and the Windows Mail app on the laptop. Both are configured using IMAP so the messages normally sync to both devices.)
The lost messages cannot be found in any folder, so it isn't even possible to resend them.
What could be wrong? How can we troubleshoot this??

In case anyone has any ideas for me, here is what I've done so far:
1. Verified both devices are using IMAP and the correct ports.
2. Verified that the mail apps can login to the SMTP and IMAP servers over the correct secure ports.
3. Verified that the account is only using 4% of its quota, so not losing messages due to a full account.
4. Verified that the IP addresses used to connect to Comcast's mail servers are not blacklisted in any known mail blocking lists.
5. Reviewed the extra headers in a couple of emails that didn't get lost and saw no problems with the account getting tagged by Comcast as being spam or phishing emails.
Still looking for any other troubleshooting steps! Any ideas, anyone??

@Bill9960 Sorry to hear about that issue but I'd love to help. When you're on the website itself are you able to send and receive messages?
