Lost Emails
I accidently moved my emails to the trash. I caught my mistake. I selected all and selected to move them back to the inbox. They are not there. Any help would be appreciated. They are not in the trash where you can recover them.

How old were they? When you move emails back to another folder from Trash they will be listed there in chronological order. So you might have to scroll down in the Inbox to find them. You could also run a search for them.

This is my exact problem. How do I find these lost emails from my inbox? Thank you.

Did you try running a search for any of them? Can you see all the folders in the left pane on the Inbox page?

Thank you for your response. My folders were all intact. Searching was not a help; I could only do that folder by folder, and emails would have shown up as I did this anyway.
The situation was resolved. When I called Comcast Customer Service, the gentleman who answered tried to be helpful but said he didn't think there was anything he could do. He did say something very helpful: emails could take days to show up if retrieved.
In fact, the missing in-box emails showed up after a day or so in a random folder; I found them by accident. I tried moving them back to the inbox. Some of them transfered and the rest again disappeared. I found those emails a day later in a different random folder. I tried again transferring them back to the inbox - and this time it worked.
Many of the restored emails came back in pieces: one with a bit of text, the one above it with a bit more text, finally the top email (of 8 or 10 or 12 with the identical heading) with the entire previously missing message. It took some weeding out to get back to the original in-box emails, but in the end it seemed that they were all there.
Again, thank you for your offer of help, I hope that my experience will help someone else.
