Local folders not synching on to server

A while back I noticed my folders were no longer synching between MS Outlook on my computer and the Comcast server. Is there any way for me to re-synch all of my folders?

@FarmerJake Thank you for making us aware you're having issues with your email folders syncing with MS Outlook via Forums. This sounds like you need to go into your e-mail settings and follow the instructions available in this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/third-party-email-access and turn on the third party e-mail program. You may have to turn it off and back on to get it to re-sync up correctly.

Thank you for this assistance, but I have one question. If the synching is successful, which "version" will get synched? In other words, will the end result be that all of the folders in my Outlook email will be synched to the Comcast server? Or will the folders that are the Comcast server by synched to Outlook? I have many email folders in my MS Outlook that are not on the Comcast server and I just want to make sure that I don't lose them.

Great question, @FarmerJake! The folders from Outlook will sync with our Comcast server.

I unchecked the box for third party email and then checked it back on, but the folders are still not synching.  How long should it take for the folders to synch?
