I sent an email of 300Kb which was bounced back with the message "permanent error"!?
I'm curious-------if you send the same email without the attachment, does it still bounce? Are you getting any error code with the "permanent error" message?
That error code indicates Google doesn't like something about your message. It may be the link itself. I found similar conversations with people using other email providers too------------------

An email cannot be any larger than 25MB, which includes headers, body, and attachments.
