Keeping email after cancellation

I would like to cancel my Xfinity service but keep one of my comcast.net email addresses.  Is that possible?

@BruceW

Bruce, thanks for your reply, that is my question as well. Does it count if I am accessing my email from my phone or do I need to access it from my laptop or desktop?

No big deal either way, I just don't want to miss the before 90 days portion if it has to be by laptop or desktop....

That's a great question, @user_8980f4. You will have to manually log into the email address since your phone should have an email application that allows you to stay logged in. This way the system recognizes that there's still activity with your account. That can be done online to avoid having to sign out of your email from your phone.

@parsifal2 Thanks for posting on our Community Forums and I'm sorry to hear that we would be losing your business. @BruceW Thanks for providing those links as well!

You can certainly keep access to your email account after disconnection, as long as you regularly access the email so it doesn't deactivate. If you still need assistance with the disconnection, my team can assist you with that as well. If needed, please send us a Direct Message by clicking the DM icon on the top right of the page. Enter Xfinity Support in the "To:" area to create your private message.
