Keep having to reset my email password every couple of days

I keep having to reset my email password every couple of days. I have been on the phone with Comcast security multiple of times. They all had me reset my password and I did. They then told me that I will not have this problem again. Lo and behold, a couple of days later I am told to reset my password again. I don’t understand why this is happening and it seems that xfinity doesn’t know either. Anyone else have a problem like this, and what did you do to get it fixed?

Hello @user_7kfwf8 This is not something I've seen reported by other users. Does it force you to change the password before you can use it again? Any other error messages or reason why it wants you to reset it?

user_7kfwf8 I do know if you are frequently required to reset your Xfinity email password, it may be due to suspicious activity on your account. You will want to ensure that your account has a verified mobile number or personal (non-Xfinity) email address added for recovery options. You can add, or check for this by following the steps outlined in the following article.

Update your Xfinity account contact information and preferences online

Additionally, consider creating a stronger password that meets the requirements: 8-128 characters, at least one number and special character, and not containing your name or username. This can help enhance your account security and reduce the need for frequent resets.
