Is email changing?

Is comcast email changing? I continue to received emails that the classic version will be replaced and I have to restore. Is this true or fraud?

Not to my knowledge. Emails claiming that it is and you should Click Here to update are very common phishing scams.

If you can, check your email with Comcast's Xfinity Connect webmail (https://connect.xfinity.com/). Look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo next to any message that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/comcast-verified-email. If the logo is missing when you view the message in webmail, the message is not from Comcast.

Unfortunately, AFAIK the logo is not present when you view one of their messages in an email app or program. It's only visible when you use their web email site.

Samples of recent phishing messages can be found at https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/alerts/ under "Top Phishing Scams".

To report a scam email to Comcast, follow the "Report Spam and Phishing Emails" link on https://internetsecurity.xfinity.com/help/report-abuse/ and scroll down to the "Report Phishing Emails" section.

These spam scams should be filtered out by Comcast. I get these at least daily. Please catch them before they hit my inbox.

Hello @stamperking I'm sorry to hear that you've been receiving spam emails and we'd be happy to take a look into this further. Since this is an old thread, I do ask that you create a new post that way we can assist you there.
