Is Comcast changing e-mail versions?

I've received e-mails purportedly coming from Comcast that I've cut and pasted below. There's a "Verify" block to check below the message. I'm wary of checking on a block in this day and age of hackers.
 
Here's what I received:
 
"Valued User
 
Your XFINITY Mail Version is outdated and has expired in the database.Failure to Upgrade to the newest AT&T Mail Version 12.9 will result in inefficient usage of mailbox and might result to shutdown"

It's more than likely.  It states, "Failure to Upgrade to the newest AT&T Mail Version 12.9"

Comcast doesn't USE AT&T Mail!
