And just like that, when I got home from work the next day, Outlook was communicating with the mail servers.  I guess Temporarily meant just that!!

@XfinityRoberto , I would love to mark a reply as an excepted answer, only I don't see the option for the reply that I posted since the issue resolved itself!!

I'm having the same problem with Apple Mail 16.0.  Connections are set to automatic. Incoming is Port 143 (error saying 993 already in use when I tried to switch). Mail working fine in Xfinity Connect browser. Intermittent problems though in iOS 15.6

.@jerrymb Thanks for the comment. Sorry about the email issues. With you not able to adjust those settings, what is the main issue with the email tool?

I no longer work for Comcast.

The next time you see "temporarily blacklisted", please use http://whatismyip.com, and direct message me the IP it shows.  I can then take a closer look at this for you.

Hi, @deplinger. I see you are in a similar situation. Are you having the exact same error as provided by the OP? If so, how are things on your end today?

I am on vacation and getting the temporary blacklist response while using the hotels wifi. Fine for 3days, 4th day blocked and can't get email on cellphone or Fire HD10. If I go off WiFi on cell phone, emails load and on Fire tablet can see them online, but not through email app. Kinda a pain especially while on vacation without my laptop. Changed account PW on advice from Comcast last night and changed incoming and outgoing PW for f

Email app and still get message it doesn't recognize my PW even though it works on other devices.

I've been having the same issue for over a month. I use Thunderbird on my MacBook Pro, iPhone, & iPad I can only access my email via Xfinity's website which is not convenient for me. I never had this problem before. I've already been on the phone troubleshooted this issue with a few Xfinty Techs for 4 hours & and the results was it wasn't Xifinty to call Apple! I don't think so.

Please respond to fixing this issue in step by step instructions so this can be fix asap, thanks

Hi

I am also getting the message "IP address Temporarily blacklisted"  on my computer (iMac) and am not receiving any emails from the Comcast server. Some users have mentioned that they were able to resolve the issue by switching off their VPN, but I do not have a VPN and thus this does not apply to me. However I was able to use the website "What is my IP address" to determine my IP address and discovered which blacklist my IP address is appearing on. I don't know how to have my IP address removed from this "list", presumably my ISP (Xfinity) knows. ?? I have also reset my email account password but am still not receiving emails through the Mail client on my Mac. Help please.
