Inbound emails delayed up to 13 hours after they were sent.

My emails are coming through up to 13 hours after they were sent.  My wife was copied on several emails and she received them this morning, I am slowly receiving them this evening.  I am not receiving critical emails in a timely manner and it is affecting my business.   This is a very serious urgent issue.  What is causing this and how do I get it fixed??
