IMAP PASSWORD FOR COMAST EMAIL

Why do I keep getting a message to enter IMAP password for Comcast?

IMAP would come into play if you are trying to set the account up in an email client like Thunderbird, Outlook, Mac Mail or something like that.  You will find the place for a password in the settings for that client.

Are you trying to log in on the app or an email app like Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple/Mac mail?  Have you tried logging in to webmail? https://connect.xfinity.com/appsuite

same problem here, haven't received email since 3/24/26 in third party app on Mac and windows and android, logged in online and have not received anything my bank sent, any automated messages from usps, things that should be sent daily. Checked bank, email summary said sent, did not receive. Checked usps email summary sent, did not receive. Something is wrong with their servers or something.
