IMAP - Messages not being deleted from Xfinity account
I use outlook.com to access/manage emails in my Xfinity account, using IMAP. I recently started getting notifications from Xfinity that my email account was at 100% capacity, which made me realize that messages I was deleting in Outlook were not being deleted from Xfinity. My understanding is that IMAP should keep the accounts in sync, but that is not happening. I have confirmed that on the Outlook side, I have the correct settings selected to enable syncing.
How do I ensure that messages are being deleted from my Xfinity account?

Hi there, thank you for posting on our Xfinity Forums. I understand how important it is to have your email working properly, especially when it comes to deleting emails. Thank you for checking to ensure it was set up correctly. Have you attempted to log into the Connect website and deleted an email, if so, do you see if it was deleted on the Outlook side?

Thank you for confirming that information! When checking the settings information, were you able to remove the Xfinity account and re-add it on Outlook?
