imap error message keeps popping up for Comcast email on iPhone 15 pro

I use email through my iPhone 15 pro, suddenly I keep getting an imap error message popping up & outbound email is not sending. I have reset my passwords, deleted the account on my iPhone & added it back again, followed instructions found in the forum and nothing is working. Help me resolve the imap setup please.

Hello, user_4r2gng. Hello, and thank you for joining us here on the Xfinity Forums. I understand how important it is to stay connected, and I’m happy to help you get access to your email on your iPhone. We can certainly assist you with signing in to your Xfinity account and accessing your comcast.net email through the Xfinity Connect website. To get started, are you currently able to access your email at this link? Also, could you let us know which email app or client you’re using on your device?

For your convenience, I’ve included a helpful resource below that walks through setting up your Xfinity Email with various email programs. You can select your specific device or app for step-by-step instructions:
Supported email programs include:

Outlook
Apple Mail on Mac OS
iPhone or iPad
Android devices
Samsung Email app
Gmail app
Windows Mail app
Mozilla Thunderbird

POP and IMAP are two different ways to receive email, and we generally recommend IMAP for Comcast.net email.

IMAP allows your email to stay synced across multiple devices, so changes made on one device (such as deleting or moving messages) are reflected everywhere.
POP can cause issues when accessing email from more than one device, as it removes messages from the server and delivers them to only one device.

If you prefer to continue using POP, please make sure your email settings include the following:

Incoming Mail Server: pop3.comcast.net
Port: 995 (POP3 with SSL)

Note: Port 110 is no longer supported.

You can verify or update these settings in your email app under Settings, Advanced Settings, or Preferences.

Helpful articles:

Update POP settings (Port 110 to 995):

Switch from POP to IMAP:

Please let us know what you’re seeing so far, and we’ll be glad to help you every step of the way. We're here for you!

@user_34orxg  To fix Xfinity email on an iPhone, delete the current account and re-add it using IMAP with correct settings. Enable "Third-Party Access Security" in your Xfinity website settings, as this often causes "unavailable" or "incorrect password" errors. Use imap.comcast.net (port 993/SSL) and smtp.comcast.net (port 587/TLS
