IMAP email not syncing with Outlook on computer (ok on mobile)
I'm unable to reconnect to my xfinity email from Outlook.
I've tried:
1. changing the setting to imap & smtp servers including all variations of SSL v STARTTLS and 993 v 143 and 587 v 465
- Incoming Mail Server Name: imap.comcast.net
- Incoming Mail Server Port Number: 993 with SSL ON
- If the Mail Client lets you select an authentication method, choose STARTTLS.
- If Needed: 143 with SSL ON
- Outgoing Mail Server Name: smtp.comcast.net
- Outgoing Mail Server Port Number: 587 (SMTP)
- If Needed: 465 (SMTPS)
- Encryption: TLS (use SSL if TLS isn't shown.)
but it won't let me set up comcast on outlook. i had it set up but it stopped synching and after trying (unsuccessfully) to repair the account, I finally deleted it and tried to reload.
Now it kicks me out of setup and keeps asking for my username and password to the IMAP server.
I can login online, and the setup works fine on my Samsung phone
I ONLY have the issue with the setup on my PC running Outlook and Windows 10.
AND I have the same issue with my personal PC and my work PC.

Turned off two-step verification and sync resumed.
