I seem to have lost at least the last two weeks of email when I switched over from Xfinity to Yahoo on my comcast email account. HELP!

I got tired of the constant messages from Xfinity suggesting that I should switch my comcast email account over to Yahoo, and that it would all be transparent and I wouldn't lose anything. Well, I just did that (on Aug 20, 2026) and now the most recent emails I have are from Aug 6. It seems they lost (??) two weeks of my email! Some of my other folders within that account seem to have lost emails going even farther back. HOW DO I GET THESE BACK? I've got important emails such as doctor appointments, etc... that now appear to be gone. HELP! I wish I had never done this, and instead just switched over to a different email client altogether.

Posting for visibility, as I had roughly the same issue, just a different date cutoff (it's Aug 23, but everything from Aug 20 at about 8:00 onwards is gone). Currently on the phone number you suggested to help resolve.

@Octrinity Were you able to speak to Yahoo about the missing emails?

@XfinityDena Yes, but the issue was not resolved. I was told over the phone that the email migration would sometimes be done in chunks (as it had just been done the same morning I called) and to wait 24 hours for the remainder. It's now been about 60 hours and they're still not there.

Edited to add: I have a second email address through Gmail, and the Gmail app on my phone was linked to my Comcast account pre-migration. Thanks to that, I can view all of these "lost" emails, just not do anything else with them. There were about 60 messages across a period of about 2&1/2 days lost this way.

@Octrinity Thank you for letting us know. I know the migration process can take time. I would encourage you to reach back out to Yahoo in the next day or two.

That's nonsense, and just a delay tactic. YOU people at Xfinity that arranged for this transfer to Yahoo need to FIX IT! It's been about five days and I'm still missing all the emails from exactly the same two week period. Something is broken! It's not our job to fix it.

@huskaroo you need to sign in to the Forums [ https://forums.xfinity.com ] before you can see the DM icon.

This is what it looks like and should be next to the bell in the upper right corner.
