I have multiple problems with my email

Hi, I am having multiple email problems.

1. I keep getting deleted emails returned to the inbox

2. emails I have already read are marked unread

3. I am getting the same email repeatedly

4. When I hit reply or forward on an email, I sometimes get an error message that it can't find the file

This is happening on multiple computers.

Hello Warbler94 Is this happening on any browser you attempt to access email on? Are you able to permanently delete the trash folder, and these emails still return? In the message headers on these emails, are you seeing any errant information?

It is happening on my account on connect.xfinity.com.   I was able to delete all emails in the trash folder.  I don't think those returned afterwards.  I m using firefox and safari.  It is happening on both.  As for headers on the emails, I have not seen any errant information, but I could have missed it.

Thank you for also confirming you are using Firefox and Safari. We typically recommend Google Chrome, have you tried Chrome as well or clearing cache and cookies? May I also ask how long you have been experiencing these issues with your email?

This started on on 09/06/2024.   I have been using Fixfox on my pc and Safari on my apple device for years and haven't had these issues before.  No haven't tried clearing cache and cookies.  I doubt this is a cache/cookie problem.

Warbler94, I appreciate the added context and for hanging in there with me on this. Have your reviewed your email settings to make sure there are no discrepancies? This Hyperlink can help with advanced settings, but they may not all be applicable.

I have not messed with my email setting, so I am not sure how the setting could be causing the problem.  I am also not sure what "nodiscrepanciess"  to look for.  I'll try.

Having a similar issue, but also have header/sender not matching content with emails.  Been happening for 2-3 days now.  Both on mail app and desktop.

I am also having these same issues for the past few days

I am having all of these issues also. It is happening on my Macs through Mail, Chrome on Windows on connect.xfinity and through Mail on my iPhone. All devices are completely updated, but none had received any updates at the time this began, nor through the present.

I am using Chrome and Safari (Ipad and Iphone) all have the same issues.    Deleted items keep re-appearing in my inbox, and some messages that I have read are now showing as unread.  I have had draft emails that I have deleted return 5 times already.  I also had some issues with the subject did not match the message in the email body.  I have not changed any email settings in a long time and all web browsers are up to date.
