I can't print my e-mails in comcast.

It brings up the print screen, ask all the usual questions but when i select 'print' , nothing happens. The printer works fine for all other tasks.. just not e-mail printing.

Are you using the print function in webmail or are you using the print function in your browser?

Webmail, correct?  Not an standalone email client?

Is the email open?  When the print dialogue comes up are you sure your printer is highlighted?  Is this the first time you've tried to print an email or if it was working before, are you now getting any error messages, or is it just silently not printing and not giving you any clue onscreen?

e-mail open.

click on Action dots

Choose 'print'

Print window comes up

I choose:portrait, 1 copy, all pages, 8-1/2 x 11

Click 'print'

Print screen goes away

Shows item in print Q for about 3 seconds and then nothing happens. just like it's not there.

What happens when you use the print icon [in yellow] on the toolbar?  Same thing?

The print icon I get from the 3 dot pull down to the right of the e-mail window when viewing the e-mail.

I've tried ctrl print, fn print screen and windows icon-print screen... nothing.

BUT.. I've noticed, just plain e-mails (no pics, logo, etc) print fine. When they have any attachments, they print all but the attachments.  I was trying to print a receipt (e-mail) from a vendor who's receipt didn't have a 'print' option. I finally used Snagit to screen grab the whole thing in sections, open in Photoshop and then send to Publisher as jpg's. A pain..but eventually worked.

Never had this problem until I went to Win 10 and Comcast mail. Life was much simpler. Anyway... problem solved.. I guess.

The print function is in the same line as the: Reply, Reply All, etc. I get it by clicking on the 3 dots past "Set F;ag". Maybe my Comcast e-mail is different since I'm using the newest comcast/Xfinity modem set up. See below.

Clicking on the 3 dots just past Set Flag gives a pull down menu with: Mark as unrread, move, move to junk, etc. and print. It's b/w not color.

So,  you didn't try the print icon?  It might not make a difference, but it's something to rule out if it doesn't work.

You have an alternative to using webmail, and that is by using an external email client.
