If you are using Comcast's servers (connect.xfinity.com, mail.comcast.net, imap.comcast.net, and smtp.comcast.net), the email (IMAP) password is the same as the password you use to log in to a Comcast/Xfinity web page or app. There is no separate "IMAP password". If you need to reset it, see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/changing-or-resetting-your-password. If you change it you'll also have to update it on any devices, apps, and programs (email, Xfinity app. etc.) that use it.

I also am having the same problem but have provided the correct password multiple times to no avail. For some reason it does not recognize it. The password works fine when I sign into my account….its driving me crazy. Can someone PLEASE give me a solution?

I have had the same problem for week after traveling to Canada from USA. I tried everything including changing my password and deleting my comcast mail account from my iphone and re-installing it three times.. Nothing worked. Eventually I just clicked OK and left the box blank when I got the prompt "Imap password is incorrect" and it loaded my mail. Go figure.....
