I am seeking assistance from an Official Employee to resolve a backend synchronization issue with my Primary Xfinity ID

I have two email accounts (addresses). The secondary email account works fine. After changing my password on my Primary account, I can no longer login to Comcast webmail using the primary email account. I am stuck in a login loop. I received the Edgesuite/Akamai "Access Denied" error

Reference #18.47b3517.1770527565.2a5efd18

https://errors.edgesuite.net/18.47b3517.1770527565.2a5efd18

When I do reach the login screen, it rejects my correctly entered new password as "incorrect."  The message displayed is: " The Xfinity ID or password you entered was incorrect. Try again."

However, I do get emails and can send emails using my iphone 17 and apple mail on my Mac.

Troubleshooting already completed:

  • I have cleared all Xfinity/Comcast cookies and cache a few times

  • I have tried to login into the problem primary account from my Apple computer, a Windows computer, with Firefox  and Safari. The problem is the same
  • I have tried Incognito/Private mode.

  • My Secondary ID works perfectly on the same browser/network, which confirms this is not a local connection or browser issue.

This appears to be a failure in the UID-to-Mail-Store synchronization following the password update. I am requesting a manual identity refresh/sync for my Primary UID. Please let me know when I can send a DM with my account details to get help. Thank you.

I would appreciate the link to DM to restore my access to Comcast webmail for the my primary email account (address) after changing the password for this email (after the password was compromised).

As a reminder, I am getting emails and can send email for this primary email account on my iphone17 and by using Apple mail on my Mac and my secondary email has no issues of any kind on the same netwrok and with the same browser.

Direct messaging isn't allowed until an official employee asks you to do so; it's against the Forum Guidelines and the Acceptable Use Policy to send anyone an unrequested DM/PM.  Also note, if you do send one without being asked to do so, it could possibly be ignored.

Please post your issue in public in the proper forum so that it can be addressed either by other customers or by an Official Employee.

Thanks, but sorry I do not understand. I am asking an official Comcast employee for a DM, as in the Subject. I assume that I am posting in the "right" forum since the problem is with email. (that's how I got here).  I have no idea about other forums dealing with email, which one is the "proper" one and how to get there and what's the issue about posting here. It appears that official Comcast employees address issues here...   I am totally confused.

How can I get the needed help from official Comcast staff to be able to access Comcast webmail (as described above) no longer accessible after I changed my password? Can Comcast staff that assists on this forum actively execute something (a manual identity refresh/sync for my Primary UID) vs. just providing suggestions? I'd appreciate an answer from Comcast staff.
