I am not able to connect to email server via mail apps.

I can get email if I log into the xfinity web site, however when I attempted to connect via mail apps it won't connect to the server. I have tried different mail apps and using multiple devices to connect to the server. It happened suddenly, in the morning my normal mail app connected fine, but in the afternoon it was no longer connecting. The customer service agent on the phone was absolutely no help.

What mail app would be your "normal mail app"? We can certainly assist you, but we do want to get more specifics so that we can narrow this down a bit more.

It is from the mail app on a mac desktop computer, mac laptop, and iphone mail app, and android phone mail app, not of them will connect to comast.net email via username [Edited: "Personal Information"] and using the same password that is used to log into my xfinity account. It is unable to connect to the mail server.

@user_f88241 Thank you, Since your able to log in via our website its sounds like your email password is not updated in your settings on your apple device, on your apple device go to settings, password find the xfinity account, in there you can re enter in your password so it links email apps links with the xfinity email server

@XfinityOrlandoM​ The password has been updated on all devices. When attempting to connect to the email server it states that it is unable to connect to the server. The password that is used to login to the xfinity website is the same password that is being used when attempting to connect via the mail apps on imac desktop computer, mac laptop, iphone and android device. On the morning of 9/13 around 9 am mountain time I was able to connect via mail apps, however later that morning the mail apps were no longer able to connect to the mail server.

Got it. Did you check out what @Again provided below to be sure those devices are checked off? 

I no longer work for Comcast.

@user_f88241​ I was finally able to resolve the issue. Somehow on the xfinity website under email security the option to allow third party mail apps access was unchecked. I checked the box to allow third party mail apps to access the mail server and now everything is back to normal.
