How to sync sub folders iPhone

Since I saw the announcement that the xfinity connect app is being retired, I tried to sync my Comcast email to my default iPhone mail app. I can sync my Inbox no problem, but I can’t see any of the sub folders that I have created previously under my Comcast Connect app. Thoughts?

I'm having same issue on my Android phone. There is just no good alternative to Xfinity Connect app and I really wish they wouldn't retire it!

After I put in all the info, userid, password, port numbers, etc, in Outlook, it just sits there spinning saying "We're getting things ready". I let it spin all night and it never moved from that. Maybe I have too many folders/emails to bring over?

I have an Android phone, and I just downloaded Outlook for android from the Google Play Store----free for personal use.  Looks pretty slick to me.  I have it set for IMAP and it's working just fine.  You could also just enable the Comcast account in the Gmail account on the phone.  In the store I am seeing other email apps too.

Don't try to add it manually.  Let the phone auto-configure it for you.  It took me about two minutes to do.  My phone is a Motorola running v10 of the android software, which I think is the latest version.

Hi allikat7, the information that Latoque shared is correct and very helpful when dealing with issues like yours. If you'd like to use outlook try loading your account again.

I've tried both ways. No go. Researched with Microsoft, no help.

Exactly what happens when you try to set up the account if you let the phone auto-configure it for you?  Are you getting any error message?  The Comcast email settings are all pretty standard stuff.  Can you sign into the account using only the webmail UI and a browser?

Below I stated exactly what happens when I try to set up on my laptop. On my Android phone, it keeps telling me to check my password which I put in correctly numerous times. Can't get past it.
