How to make personal and preferred email the same on my account

There is a personal (yahoo.com) and preferred email address( comcast.net) on my account. I keep getting important Xfinity email on my yahoo acct only. I only use that account to catch spam and some other things. I want all my Comcast/Xfinity email to come to my comcast.net address. System will NOT let me change my personal email to be the same as my preferred or to remove the personal email completely. Xfinity assistant is zero help. This should be easy to do but nope. Driving me nuts. Bottom line is that I want just ONE email address on my account please. Help and thanks

Thank you for reaching out @TerriB At this time we do require for you to have a personal email on the account for security. We also no longer create Comcast email address for new account and removing inactive Comcast emails as well.

The issue is that I am not getting Xfinity emails to my Comcast acct which is my preferred account . I am only getting them on my yahoo acct which I rarely look at. Thats the issue....I want all emails from Xfinity to come to my Comcast email which is my preferred email in your system so why am I getting any email from Xfinity at all to my called personal email that should be secondary? Everything should come to my preferred email or is there something I am not understanding?

I got this in my yahoo acct.....Enjoy another year of Peacock Premium – ON US! . This is kind of important but did not come to my preferred acct which is on Comcast.net. I just happened to go to Yahoo to clean out all the junk and saw it. I get lots of Xfinity related email on yahoo and not on comcast.net
