Good morning user_hyomwf! I hope you are having a wonderful week. Thanks so much for sharing the trouble you are having with accessing your comcast.net email. I'm sorry that you are having this trouble. I know it can be confusing if you haven't been to some websites in a while and changes have been made.

I typically navigate to xfinity.com and select sign in at the top right of the screen to access my email. From there I click on the menu and select email, the menu option is also at the top right of the page. You can use the link that @Again shared. Thank you, @Again!

If those options are not working, you can also visit https://www.xfinity.com/email and select sign in from there.

I hope one of these options helps out. Please let us know if you have any additional trouble or questions for your email.

Why doesn't my www.xfinity.com/auth page have an "Account" icon, or a "Check Email" link?

It's there in Chrome and Edge, but I prefer Firefox, and there the page looks like this:

@Again and @XfinityMichaelC: I'm thrilled down to my toes that the Account icon is showing up in Firefox for the two of you, but you do realize, do you not, that posting "It works for me!" helps me not one whit? I've cleared cache and cookies, installed a newer version of Firefox and rebooted the computer. The icon show up perhaps once if I reload the page 20 times, and if I reload it again, the icon disappears.

Do either of you have any suggestions which might actually be helpful, or is stating "It works for me!" the best you can do? You do understand that the statement is not actually helpful, don't you?

OTOH, inspired by your example, I've decided that from now on I'll respond to all "trouble with internet" posts with "Mine is working fine! It's solid as a rock!" See how helpful that will be?

And one more time:

@BruceW Have you tried to see how it works in a Private browseing session (ctrl+shift+p if on windows)? What version of Firefox are you running? It looks like the latest is 141.0? As you mentioned, it works in chrome and edge so that narrows it down to something with Firefox.

0... Private browseing ... version of Firefox ...

Thank you for the suggestions. I should have said before: I'm running Windows 11 24H2 on an HP desktop. Before yesterday I was using Firefox 129.0.2 (64-bit), now updated to 141.0 (64-bit).

I just tried loading https://www.xfinity.com/ in a Private window in normal mode, in a regular window in the browser's "Troubleshooting (Safe) Mode", and in a Private window in Troubleshooting Mode. Those modes all behave the same as the normal mode.

If I'm not logged in, when I type the URL or click a bookmark for it and go through the UserID/Password login sequence, the Account icon is usually present when the page first loads. But if I reload the page, or try to bring it up when I'm already logged in, or click one of the links on that page, the icon only shows up, as stated, perhaps 1 time in 20.

Besides the latest horrors inflicted on us by Sprinklr (circular chat icon floating near the top-right instead of bottom-right, weird L-shaped light gray object dangling under the chat icon, messing up the "bell" icon scroll bar), and this problem with the www.xfinity.com Account icon, the browser seems to render pages as you would expect. I'm at a loss what else to try.
