How do I use a sending address that's different than the account?

Let's assume my account user name is foobar.

Instead of using foobar@comcast.net  I want to use an outgoing address of nonsense@somethingelse.com ?

It doesn't want to let me type in a different sending address

I only want to do this once so I only want it for this one message.

The Appsuite email software has no provision for using email aliases.  That said, in the webmail you could enable another non-Comcast email account under the section in the left pane titled "Add mail account".  You can send using any email name/address in that section.  But it would have to be a real, valid email account from either Comcast or some other email provider.

Thanks but I needed to do a test to isolate whether a problem is with me or comcast so creating another account won't do it

Can you clarify what "problem" you are referring to?
