How Do I Convert current Xfinity email from IMAP to PST

I want to get all of my email moved back to .pst format. I currently have my emails as .imap and am trying to figure out how to convert back to .pst. I am using Microsoft 365 with Outlook 365 Classic. What steps do I need to do to start this process. If you need more information please let me know.

@cpupro Here’s how you can convert your IMAP-based emails to a .pst file:

Step-by-step: Export IMAP Emails to PST in Outlook 365 Classic
Open Outlook and make sure your IMAP account is fully synced.

Go to the File tab.

Select Open & Export > Import/Export.

Choose Export to a file, then click Next.

Select Outlook Data File (.pst) and click Next.

Choose the IMAP account or specific folders you want to export. Make sure to check Include subfolders.

Click Next, then choose a location to save the .pst file.

Click Finish. You can optionally set a password for the file.

This will create a .pst file containing all your selected IMAP emails. You can then import this file into another Outlook profile or keep it as a backup.

I will look at this and try and step through it. The biggest problem that I see is that Outlook 365, Classic, is that I will have to delete the account, clean up all the messages on Xfinity website email before I can import the .pst file and start from scratch.

Here is the problem that I am having. I do all the steps listed above to create .pst files for my Xfinity emails. What is happening is when I do this and recreate the email address in Outlook 365 Classic it only brings in the "Inbox" messages, NO OTHER FOLDERS. So I have no information for my "Sent" emails which is important. Subfolders is checked.

Can we move this over to Direct Messaging so I can include a couple of pictures and more information?

@cpupro Does it allow you to select the other folders at all? There should be the option of selecting all the folders you'd like to export to create a backup first. If you continue having trouble with the process, I would recommend reaching out to Outlook support for further assistance. We are very limited in the troubleshooting support we can provide for third-party email clients from here.

Going to Microsoft for help in this area wasn't on my list, it takes too long to get anything done. After a little research I figured out that I already had a program to do this called "Kernel for OST to PST". This program takes the .ost and converts to .pst and puts the information into Outlook 365 automatically. From there you can clean up the online accounts and delete folders that you don't need. A very comprehensive program that works great.
