How do I completely and immediately delete a Comcast email address?

My Comcast email address was comprised and is being used by hackers and spammers to send out millions of fraudulent emails. My wife and I deleted me from our Xfinity account so she is the only one on it.  However, this did not delete my Comcast email address, because when I send an email from my new provider to my comprimised  Comcast email address, it goes through fine (no couldn't deliver return message).  So, how do I get this compromised email address completely disabled so spammers can't continue to use it??

Are the spam emails going out showing in your Sent folder?  If so the account has indeed been compromised.  Run a full scan of your system with your A/V software to see if it finds anything.  If they are not in the Sent folder, then your email address is likely being "spoofed" to make it look like the emails are coming from your account when they are not.  If that is the case, there's not much you can do  about it.  Even if you delete the account, they can still spoof the address.  Try calling Comcast security and see if they can help----------------

@Latoque They are not in the sent folder, so they must be spoofed.  Thanks for your help.

@Jagagility No problem at all! Anything we can do to help a valued member of our Xfinity family! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your Friday and weekend, and we look forward to speaking with you again in the future!

I no longer work for Comcast.
